Amazing Interfaith Climate Justice Event TOMORROW! Happy birthday to the trees!

Celebrate Tu B'Shevat, the birthday of the trees, by joining us tomorrow evening at a very special interfaith forum, Climate Justice: Fighting for Human Rights and Healthy Planet. See details below.

Did you know the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia contributed $20,000 to the Grad Network this year?!? They also contributed to birthright israel, the Collaborative, and many other initiatives across the city that benefit YOU and the rest of the Jewish community.

Join us for a special Phixin' Philly date at Super Sunday, this coming Sunday, January 27, where we'll have the chance to give back to the community that has given so much to us. You'll receive top-notch training on how to make phone calls requesting support from others, plus we'll have a great time, enjoy lots of good food, and proudly represent the Grad Network and the young adult segment of our community! Click on the link below for more details and to RSVP.

Jewish Resource of the Week

Click here to learn more about the ideas and beliefs behind the holiday of Tu B'Shevat, which begins tonight at sundown, and here to learn more about some practices associated with this day.

Also, this year there's the special coincidence of Tu B'Shvat and Martin Luther King Day falling on the same day. Click here for some reflections on what these have in common. And learn more about that at tomorrow's event, Climate Justice: Fighting for Human Rights and a Healthy Planet. Hope to see you there!
